Fiona Anderson is an independent Interview Skills Consultant with 16 years' recruitment industry experience in Financial Services, IT, Consultancy, Media, and Agency. She has literally conducted thousands of interviews, and has expertise in varied recruitment processes including behavioural interviews, presentations, occupational testing, and assessment centres. She now specialises in helping mums and dads prepare for job interviews, when returning to the world of work after a career break. Through personalised one-to-one coaching sessions, Fiona provides CV feedback, analyses job specs to predict likely interview questions, identifies suitable answers, and provides tips on how to prepare for and control the overall interview process.

I've been in the Recruitment industry for over 15 years, working for recruitment agencies and for in-house HR Recruitment teams. I've worked with very well-known organisations across Scotland including Financial Services, IT, Media, Education, Manufacturing, and Business and IT Consultancy. I've conducted literally thousands of interviews, both in-house and at Assessment Centres, and I've conducted Group Exercises, Presentations, Psychometric Testing, Ability Testing, and Role Plays.

I'm degree qualified, and hold recognised industry qualifications (Saville & Holdsworth, British Psychological Society).

I am also totally independent of any recruitment agency or job board.

And I'm keen to help, because I know that interviewing well is a skill that can be learnt.
