Decopatch
This is our most popular choice of party activity – it really is just great fun for all ages and the children are
always amazed by the results
Duration dependent on the ages of the children. Prices include all materials and varnishing. Items are usually left with us overnight to be varnished and are ready to pick up the next day. Suitable for all ages (above 3) although we would not recommend choosing the smaller animals for younger children as they can be a bit more fiddly!
Feltmaking
Make a wet-felted shoulder bag using coloured felt threads, soap, water, bubblewrap and a lot of elbow grease! This is a great party activity for ages 8+ and everyone goes home with their own bag and a new skill! £12.00pp (2 hours)
Ceramics
Michelle from Making Pottery comes along and shows us how to make an animal or a box out of clay. Items are under-glazed at the party, then taken off to be fired and are ready to be collected around one week later. Suitable for ages 7+ £12.00 pp(2 hours)
Mosaics
We’ll show you how to make a mosaic heart or a mirror using ceramic tiles, glass tesserae, shells and other found objects. Suitable for ages 10+ (2 hours)
Design a T-Shirt
We’ll be using fabric paints, fabric pens and jewels to decorate our own t-shirt. We recommend leaving the t-shirts with us overnight to dry and we’ll iron them to make the design permanent. Suitable for ages 7+ £12.00 pp (2 hours)
Food, Drink & Music
You can bring along your own party buffet and a cake of course, and if you wish you can even bring along your own CDs! The party times noted above include 20 – 30 minutes for your party food.
Numbers
We can accommodate up to 16 children in the studio. For under 5’s the maximum number of guests attending is 10. You need to have a minimum of 7 guests to hire the studio exclusively. For parties consisting of less than 7 guests we will allow other customers to use the studio whilst your group is in.
