Additional information

When it comes to education boys are very different from girls. Experience shows us that not only do they learn differently buy they also respond differently to classroom discipline, long-term coursework and peer pressure. We believe by understanding what makes them different we are in a better position to help them achieve.

We are proud to offer...

Headmaster: Andrew Hunter

What is your recipe for a perfect Sunday afternoon?
An energetic walk in the hills followed by a Sunday roast and a good film.

Which recent film or book would you recommend and why?
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” because it makes you look at the people and places you have encountered on your own journey through life, the joys of loved ones around you and the importance of accepting each and every human being, whatever their cultural background.

What has given you the most satisfaction in your job?
Helping young people to make the most of the opportunities and talents with which they have been gifted. Giving staff an opportunity to inspire youngsters and helping to guide parents through parenthood during their children’s school years.

Andrew is married, with three children over 18 and his teaching subject is English.
