Families across Edinburgh and the Lothians can explore their musical sides at Mini Music Makers. The classes, run by the National Youth Choir of Scotland, open up the world of music to children aged 0 – 5 years and their parent/carers through singing, rhymes and bouncing games. The emphasis is on fun as puppets, parachutes and percussion instruments bring music to life. Research has shown that music education can also help develop musical, numerical, social and language skills.

We are proud to offer
Puppets, parachutes and percussion instruments are used to ensure the children enjoy themselves, while they are unconsciously learning musicianship skills and absorbing things that will never leave them. Tickling games, bouncing songs, play songs and lullabies from our book Singing Games and Rhymes for Tiny Tots are used in the sessions.
