Families across Edinburgh and the Lothians can join in the fun at Mini Music Makers as they start back after the February half-term break.
These interactive musical sessions for 0 – 5 year olds and their parents/carers from the National Youth Choir of Scotland run from January to March. However, it is possible to join in the fun from February, allowing families to enjoy Mini Music Makers for just £5 per class.
The educational sessions will open up the world of music to children through singing, rhymes and bouncing games. The emphasis is on fun as puppets, parachutes and percussion instruments bring music to life. What’s more, research has shown that music education at the earliest stage can help develop musical, numerical, social and language skills.
Classes are available in Bathgate, Dalkeith, Edinburgh Central, Edinburgh Leith, Lamancha, Linlithgow and Livingston.
Places in all classes are allocated on a first come first served basis. To book your place please contact Catherine Williams on 0141 287 2943 or visit www.nycos.co.uk for more information.
