Head Teacher: Anne Everest

As the new Head of St George's School for Girls joined in August 2010, we do not have the past "meet the head" interview. Instead we have Anne Everest's own words regarding her past career history.

I have lived in Scotland for most of my adult life, having moved with my husband from Yorkshire to Aberdeenshire in 1981. Consequently, though I was educated in the English system (at an all girls school), it is the Scottish system of education that I know better. After 15 years of teaching at Robert Gordon's College, latterly as a deputy head in the senior school, I moved to St Margaret's School for Girls in Aberdeen, where I spent three very happy years as Head.
