Loretto Pre-School has a tangible warmth and a friendly atmosphere that welcomes everyone. We provide a holistic education built upon a foundation of learning through play. We are large enough to offer a broad range of curriculum subjects and activities, yet small enough to provide an environment that genuinely nurtures children and enables each individual to thrive.

Our pupils are inspirational. They are full of creative energy and show an interest in everything. We enable them to engage in a wide range of learning opportunities, which encourages them to develop lively, enquiring minds.

Physical activity is an important part of each day, with outdoor learning and forest school being firm favourites all year round. They enjoy assemblies and chapel services with our junior pupils and meet other teachers through specialist subjects, such as art and music.

Our staff are experienced and dedicated. They are skilful experts who are able to harness the children’s natural curiosity, using carefully selected stimulating resources within our dedicated indoor and outdoor classrooms. Our small class sizes allow staff to tailor the curriculum to the needs of the group, whilst ensuring that they prioritise personal development and outstanding pastoral care. We aim to inspire a lifelong love of challenge and achievement.

Our parents are as welcoming as the children. They represent a wide cross-section of professions, with each family contributing to the richness and diversity of our community.
