From the earliest age, we invest in understanding and supporting your child’s interests by actively listening, observing, and facilitating stimulating learning experiences aligned with their passions. This approach fosters an environment that sparks natural curiosity, wonder, and enquiry.
Our nursery’s core focus is on learning through play, complemented by weekly sessions led by specialists in PE, dance and music. Children also enjoy regular opportunities for outdoor learning, creativity, gardening, and digital learning. As part of a 3-18 school the children have access to our superb facilities, including performances spaces for our regular concerts and performances. Our well-used outdoor spaces, the Fantastical Forest and Secret Garden, are carefully designed to emphasize Outdoor Learning, encouraging adventurous exploration.
Nestled in Edinburgh’s West End on a secure fifteen-acre parkland campus, our nursery welcomes up to 56 girls and boys from the term of their third birthday. As an integral part of the junior school, our nursery is staffed by dedicated early years and primary trained teachers.
During term time our nursery offers morning and full-day sessions from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. For added flexibility, extra nursery sessions, wraparound care from 7:45 am, and afternoon care until 6 pm are available and well-used. Our Holiday Club remains open during holiday periods. Our wraparound care is staffed by our nursery team ensuring continuity of care.
