Our tutors also offer comprehensive tuition in all SQA subjects and levels, from National 4 and 5 to Higher and Advanced Higher, and beyond where possible. All our tutors are qualified, GTC-registered teachers with extensive experience. We focus on nurturing your child's individual learning style, building their confidence, and solidifying their subject knowledge, while providing essential exam preparation. Tuition is available both face-to-face and online. While we are based in Edinburgh, Fife, and the Lothians, we extend our services to other areas and welcome inquiries from international students.

2 Steps Ahead provides tutoring in Primary subjects for all ages and stages. We understand that disruptions, such as the recent pandemic, can impact learning, and we offer early intervention to address any learning gaps. Our tutors are skilled at building strong relationships with students and their families, providing regular monitoring, assessments, and feedback. We also collaborate with an excellent educational psychologist for comprehensive assessments if a full diagnosis of any learning difficulties, including autism and dyslexia, is required.

2 Steps Ahead is led by Jannet Robinson, a graduate and postgraduate of Durham and Edinburgh Universities, with extensive teaching experience in both Independent and State systems at Primary and Secondary levels. Jannet's expertise includes her former role as a lecturer at Moray House School of Education, Edinburgh University, where she taught on Primary and Secondary courses, specializing in Biology and Science.
