August spaces available at Corstorphine Village Playgroup for children aged between 2-5!
✓ Nurturing and experienced staff who are passionate about child-centred play
✓ Activities include arts and crafts, loose parts play, imaginative role-play, and physical play on the climbing frame, tricycles and wobbel boards
✓ Drop-off sessions run at the Old Parish Church Hall on weekdays from 9.30-11.30am during term-time and cost £16.50, including a healthy snack
✓ Mixed age play has been shown to have huge benefits on children's language, literacy and numeracy
For children not yet in nursery, the playgroup provides the ideal stepping stone to build confidence away from their parents and for children already in nursery, the playgroup gives parents a well-needed wee break.
The playgroup has been running in the heart of the village for over 30 years and is a lovely way for children (and their carers!) to make new local friends.
