Fairview International School, Bridge of Allan offers an uninterrupted continuum through IB education for students aged 5-18. Admissions are open all year round, with Fairview offering the opportunity of personalised visits and non-committal taster days, allowing students to try an IB Education and explore the campus. Fairview prides itself on being an inclusive and family-orientated school, with its dedicated team being available to provide assistance and guidance throughout the whole admissions process.
With its admissions process focusing on accommodating the needs of each individual student and family, Fairview offers a flexible admissions criterion. Student’s academic records, personal achievements, and factors beyond academics such as student’s personalities, interests and extracurricular activities are considered. For the Middle Years Programme, Years 7-11 (aged 11-15), and Diploma Programme, Years 12 and 13 (post-16 years old), scholarships covering up to 100% of tuition fees are also available for all-round achievement, academic excellence, sporting excellence or the arts.
The school also offers nursery students’ the chance to transition to full-time education with the Explorer programme. Offering an accessible and equitable route to an IB education, the package offers a 50% tuition fee waiver for year one entry, followed by 20% off years two and three, meaning initial tuition costs are more affordable than most nurseries.
More than the standard curricula, the IB programmes focus on critical thinking and academic integrity, stressing the significance of questioning, comprehending, and responsibly utilising information in the digital age, offering students a holistic learning experience.
