FREE Friday Series Community Workshops: Empowering Young Women in Computing and AI in Sport
A series of engaging workshops designed to introduce young women to the exciting world of technology and artificial intelligence (AI) is set to launch.
The "Friday Series Community Workshops" will take place every Friday from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, specifically for P5, P6, and P7 girls.
These workshops aim to unlock creativity, boost tech skills, and empower the next generation of female leaders in the tech industry. Over the course of three weeks, from September 19th to October 3rd, 2025, participants will delve into the fascinating intersection of AI and sports.
Led by Sharon Moore, Technical Director at IBM, the workshops will provide hands-on experience and insights into how technology and AI are revolutionising the sports industry. Students will explore real-world applications, from performance analysis to game strategy.
In addition to technical skills, the workshops will address the ethical considerations, risks, and responsibilities associated with AI in today's world. This will provide a comprehensive understanding of the technology's impact on society.
