Craigies Farm in South Queensferry is thrilled to announce the return of its popular Clubhouse Summer School, offering three action-packed weeks of fun for children aged 5-12.
This year's program runs from
July 7th-11th
July 14th-18th
July 21st-25th
Offering both half-day and full-day options
(9:30 am - 3:00 pm).
Let them live the farm life!
This is an immersive experience where kids become active participants in farm life. Forget screens and embrace the outdoors! Your children will be guided by a brilliant team of experienced professionals, including forest rangers, zookeepers, art instructors, and woodworking instructors. Rest assured, all staff are First-Aid trained and PVG checked (Protecting Vulnerable Groups – a crucial safety measure).
More than just a visit, it's a real-life farm adventure!
At Craigies Farm Clubhouse, we believe in learning by doing. Children will experience:
Hands-on farming: Caring for animals, planting in the garden, and getting involved in the daily tasks of a working farm.
Tractor rides and farm tours: Exploring the farm and learning about its different aspects.
Growing food:Discovering how food is grown from field to table.
Real-life skills: Gaining valuable experience and fostering a connection with nature.
We do focus on truly letting the kids be a part of the farm and learn real life skills, caring for the animals, planting in the garden, they will get dirty, they will genuinely gain hands on experience, but we do keep it safe and age-appropriate.

Our two children (7 and 9) had a fantastic time at the Clubhouse at Craigies this Easter. Over the course of the week they fed lambs, looked after baby chicks, got involved in all sorts of arts and crafts and made snacks. They could not wait to go back each morning.

Signed my daughter up for a week of mornings at the clubhouse. She thoroughly enjoyed it and would have stayed full day. Nicole and the other adults were lovely, the organised activities kept the interest going for the kids and they got real hands on learning. I also appreciated a good handover when picking my daughter up to say how her day had gone. This was followed by an end of week diary and photos. Great job Nicole, we look forward to more clubhouse fun in the future.

The kids really loved their time at the Clubhouse this Easter holiday! Fantastic activities – fun, educational and wonderful to see them enjoying being closer to nature – spending time with the animals and learning about farming. Really important and something I wish kids were doing more of! The staff were very enthusiastic and engaged well with the kids. Great comms with Nicole before the event, and she wrote a lovely review of the kids time after, with photos (permitted) after! Really hope this club runs again soon – we’ll defo be signing up if so!!
