The Compass School is the East of Scotland’s most affordable independent primary and nursery school. In adding value to a child’s education, here at The Compass School, Haddington, pupils enjoy a comprehensive academic curriculum together with sporting opportunities and a wide range of extra-curricular activities. The School, which is non-selective, caters for pupils from the age of 4 and welcomes children at all stages up to the age of 12.
In recent years The Compass has been awarded Gold status twice as a UN Rights Respecting School in recognition of the strong values of respect and the support of others to which the School aspires. The School also became one of Scotland’s first ever Digital Schools in recognition of the way in which digital technology is embedded in the School’s curriculum and daily life. These awards reflect the School’s commitment to ensuring that its children enjoy the very best of personal and educational experiences during their time at the School.
