The Forest at Merchiston offers a co-educational Nursery and Primary experience, rolling through to P7 by 2028. A strong academic curriculum is seamlessly combined with an enriching outdoor education programme, making full use of our exceptional grounds. Outdoor learning is embedded in daily teaching, bringing classroom concepts to life while developing resilience, collaboration, curiosity and problem-solving skills. We nurture the whole child, intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically, and recognise that every learner is unique. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Through close relationships and individual attention, children are supported to grow in confidence, develop their talents and craft their own path.
The Senior School (single-sex, boys) combines academic ambition with outstanding sporting provision. Small class sizes and a close-knit community ensure that every pupil is known as an individual.
