Easter Holiday Club: Let them live the farm life

The Clubhouse is back at Craigies Farm this Easter with another week of hands-on, outdoor fun for children.
Spring is the perfect time to be outdoors on the farm, where children will learn how to care for animals (and cuddle some new arrivals!) and see how the farmer “wakes the farm back up” after winter.

13-17 April
Time: 8:30am - 3:00pm
Ages: 5-12 years
Location: Craigies Farm, South Queensferry,
They will discover how the farming cycle begins in the large fields, try their hand at planting potatoes or pumpkins (which they’ll later harvest during the Autumn Club sessions), and spend time in the allotments planting and growing their own produce. They will also collect eggs for the popular farm-to-fork cooking sessions.
Children are introduced to traditional farm skills that have been passed down for generations. From learning how sheep are shorn to washing, preparing and using wool in traditional crafts, as well as woodworking and hands-on activities, they experience the full farm cycle from start to finish.
Alongside this, The Clubhouse also runs hands-on tech workshops exploring innovation in modern farming. Children discover how technology is shaping the future of food, from smart growing systems and sensors to drones and sustainable farming methods, showing how nature and innovation work together.
🚜📡🌱 The Drop-Off Activity Club runs from 8:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with optional after-hours workshops from 3:00–5:00 p.m. for children who just can’t get enough.
The purpose of The Clubhouse is to help children gain real-life skills through practical learning, build confidence, make new friends, and discover just how capable they really are.
Led by an experienced team of forest rangers, animal specialists, and creative instructors, each day is packed with hands-on adventures. All staff are First Aid trained and PVG checked, so parents can relax knowing their children are in safe hands.
Ratios are kept intentionally low to allow children to participate fully, and places are limited. Early booking is recommended to secure a spot.
