Childcare Playgroups in Edinburgh
If your pre-schooler is aged 2 or older and they do not require full day care or attend a nursery, you may wish to consider a playgroup. Most playgroups are now Partner Providers with City of Edinburgh Council which offers funding for every 3 and 4-year-old and eligible 2-year-olds. Children must usually be at least 2 years old and to be able to attend a playgroup. They provide a great low cost way for you and your child to join a new community.
Most playgroups open Monday to Friday, term times only. Please contact the individual playgroup organisers for updates regarding fees, times and available places.
