“Class is in Session!”
What is LS Tuition Summer School?
LS Tuition is launching its latest venture: LS Tuition Summer School Our experience in Tutoring and working with families across the country has supported us in understanding that the summer is a particular time of challenge for many of our learners. Whilst ‘down-time’ is fundamental, this 6-week period of absence from school brings other challenges such as dysregulation from consistent routine and the well-known ‘summer brain’ whereby children find themselves back at school in August feeling as though they have forgotten everything they learned previously.
Many of our parents/families have contacted us asking if we are able to support this transitional period. As a result of this, and our recent move to our larger brand-spanking new Learning Space, LS Tuition Summer School was born!
Our team of fully qualified teachers are ready to open the LS Tuition Classroom doors and welcome students for a stimulating, fun and educational summer-school experience!
How Does LS Tuition Summer School Function?
Our Summer School has been designed to support children in maintaining vital consistency/routine whilst also keeping their foot in the door with regard to their education. It is a bridge between regular schooling but also with a view toward keeping the pressure low and allowing children to feel as though they are still taking a break from the school year.
Our Summer School will run over the course of 7 weeks with each week being its own individual block. This gives parents/families the opportunity to book their child in for as many week-long blocks as they would like.
Whilst blocks run separately, each individual block will be planned to support progression in relation to the specific children attending.

How Many Children Attend Each Weekly Block?
Our Summer School has been designed with our student’s best interest in mind. For this reason, we have structured each summer school block to run with a maximum of 6 children per session. This ensures that each child will receive focused attention from the leading Tutor, and that the Summer School Content will be tailored to each child in each block.
How Much Does LS Tuition Summer School Cost?
Each weekly block for LS Tuition Summer School costs £200, per child, per week. This works out as only £13 per hour!
Parents/families who book more than one child from the same family will receive a 20% discount of their total fee for each week booked.
Individual children booking for 2 or more weekly blocks will receive a 20% discount of their total fee.
Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with each other.
Can I Book my Child for a Few Days or do they Have to Book for a Whole Week?
Our Summer School has been designed to function in week-long blocks and therefore children cannot book for any less that a one-week block. Our aim with these Summer School blocks is to support academic and social progression in a short space of time. For us to achieve this, we need consistency in the students attending each week. Our week-long bookings work towards supporting your children in the following ways:
Our Tutors are able to plan for learning and progression consistently in line with the specific children booked each week,
Children have the opportunity to develop their skills and progress in their learning throughout their tailored 15-hour block,
Learning and Teaching takes the format of various ‘projects’ which children will engage in throughout the week and can ‘come back to’ a different day if they do not finish,
Children are given the opportunity to meet each other and solidify interpersonal connections with their group members, something which is vital, and simply not possible, if we have different children attending every day of the week.
