This year, Merchiston will be celebrating the festive season not only with the annual 'A Very Merchiston Christmas Fair,' but also with an exciting Winter Wonderland event in The Forest. This family-friendly and fun-filled event will bring joy and merriment to all who attend.
Merchiston Christmas Fair
Following from last year's success, we are delighted to announce that we will be holding this year's 'A Very Merchiston Christmas Fair' on Saturday 2nd December (10:00am – 12:00pm). Held in the beautifully decorated Memorial Hall at Merchiston Castle School, the event is the perfect occasion to get into the festive spirit.
You will be able to purchase luxurious gifts, sample delicious treats, enter our fantastic raffle and support the efforts of our charity fundraising students too. Tickets for the event are available via Eventbrite. Tickets are free of charge (gives us an idea of numbers). We invite all attendees to make a donation at the door. All donations and proceedings from the raffle will go in support of Edinburgh Food Project.

In addition to our annual ‘A Very Merchiston Christmas Fair’, this year we will heralding the festive season with a family-friendly, fun-filled Winter Wonderland event in The Forest.
Particularly aimed at the younger ones in the family, The Forest Winter Wonderland will engage your children in Forest-themed festive activities such as making reindeer food and creating their very own Christmas decorations.
Plenty of fun for the entire family and chance to explore our Forest further. The event will run in parallel with the Christmas Fair between 10:00 and 14:00 on Saturday 2nd December.
