Edzell Nursery has been at the heart of the community since 1962, providing excellent pre-school education for children aged 2.5 – 5 years. Our qualified and dedicated staff provide a happy, safe, and stimulating environment where confidence and self esteem can grow, as well as a variety of opportunities to develop and learn through the Curriculum for Excellence. Small student numbers and opportunities for parents to be involved make the nursery feel a close-knit community. And our large, fun garden, plus regular trips outside the nursery, means that learning and exploring takes place both indoors and outdoors daily.
Edzell Nursery is open 8:50am to 12:15pm during term time, and as a partner of the City of Edinburgh Council, receives funding for eligible children. Those who join the nursery age 2.5 pay the funding equivalent until the term after their 3rd birthday when they become eligible.
