Pure Brilliant Events was founded by Bex, who is wonderfully friendly, organised and absolutely fantastic with children. Originally from Northern Ireland, she is a trained make-up artist and special effects expert.
Bex began working as a freelance face painter and balloon modeller while still a student. Such was her success and enjoyment of the role, she later recruited a whole team of fun and creative individuals. She has even worked with organisations including the Scottish Parliament, Scottish Gas, Step It Up Dance and Standard Life.
Bex and her team can organise and run events for up to 30 children. There are many excellent packages available, depending on your child’s age and interests.

What age does a child have to be to have their face painted?
We do not paint the face of a child younger than 3. However, we will do a small design on their cheek.
Do the paints and glitter come off easily?
Yes. Use shampoo or a good quality bar of soap for the face paint. You’ll find more detailed instructions here. The glitter will wear off in a week.
Can glitter tattoos be applied to the face?
No. The glue used is specialist body glue, but we apply tattoos to arms and legs only.
What is the upper age-limit for trampolining?
12 years old
